A House – Sanpetru, Brasov
The project was designed to facilitate the connection of man with nature. This connection is also reflected in the color palette and materials used in the exterior design.
The intelligent positioning in the center of the plot allows access to all outdoor areas. The building's facades can be defined by simplicity in form and function, a concept that also applies to the interior of the building.
Considering the surrounding areas, when we designed the house, we tried to connect the man to nature through the natural elements used in interior design, and by introducing large-sized woodwork
pieces placed on 3 sides of the house,
towards all the cardinal points where the sunlight peeks through.
Thus, from a small house, through the large structural openings, with the help of interior design, we created very spacious areas, unobstructed by other structural elements.
The shape of the house got its contour by the shape of the land, thus being rectangular.
The house was positioned in the central area of the land to have access to all the outdoor areas that we designed, by giving them different destinations, depending on the premises from which the access is made.
The client wanted a simple, straight and minimalist interior design, combined with some oriental accents. For example, on the accent wall in the living room, we added four frames consisting of wooden elements and painted to the color of the wall. The color palette was outlined according to the client’s requirements – to create an open, bright and spacious interior space.
The focus was on creating a space where elements and objects are reduced to their basic form, brought to life through different chromatic articulations, natural textures, natural light, and functional furniture. This creates an oasis of calm and relaxation for the owner’s home.

The spaces are airy and offer the feeling of a large room thanks to the large structural openings. The interior design is simple and minimalist but combines oriental touches.
