AD House – Cisnadie, Sibiu
- Completed
- 2021

Because the house is located on rough, sloped terrain, the design of this building required a lot of documentation and preliminary study.
Having the difference in level of ~8 meters from the eastern limit of the property, ascending towards the western perimeter, and the beneficiary having certain requirements regarding the distribution of the premises on the areas of the levels, we had to make complex changes to the land to counterbalance the desires of the owner with the complex vision of the designer and the architect.
The project was divided into 3 elaborate stages: conceptualization, design and visualization. Each stage of the project had its challenges, which required major commitment and involvement from the entire team.
The client is a young IT specialist who wanted a home with a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere, that matches his lifestyle.
In this regard, the design was planned in a bold manner, with strong chromatic accents and straight, sharp forms. Being passionate about swimming, the client asked for an area designed for this sport, that could be practiced and enjoyed throughout the year, so we designed an indoor medium size swimming pool, with direct access to the terrace area inside the courtyard; the house is “L” shaped.
The designer managed to bring to a common denominator the client’s requirements and the final shape of the building, thus creating an admirable project.
